Our Story

How We Began

On a chill December evening while in transit back home for the Christmas, an entrepreneur whose entrepreneurial journey had only just begun, was reminded of her desire to give back to her community as soon as she had enough to.

As she pondered on what “enough” means, it became clear to her that there was no such thing. There and then she knew that if she didn’t do anything with the little she had now, she wouldn’t do it even if she had “enough “.

Right there she started to plan to do something before the close of the year, and so came about the first Do’more project held in 2018.

A tiny dot, a small spark, one willing heart, has led to a few more projects, a few more enthusiastic hearts, eager hands and a growing community of people willing something, willing to do more.

Our How

Who We Are

The Do’more initiative is a group dedicated to inspiring every day people to take responsibility for building the communities and, and the country they dream of.

We do it by initiating and supporting community projects powered by volunteers, crowdfunding and partnerships, which are inclusive of Indigenous and international partners and donors.
Our goal is to offer the opportunity for everyday people and local businesses within Africa to lead the charge in building better communities for our common benefit. Our projects serve as a chance for people to take responsibility for building the world – the Africa- they dream of, while the projects themselves contribute to addressing real life issues and making a difference.

We truly believe to build a better world, a better Africa, we must do it together and ourselves, by taking responsibility.

Everyone has something to give. Give it now.
